An 18-year-old boy named Kingsley Akpobome Emobor has has confessed that he murdered his mother and slept with her corpse for 2 nights for the purpose of money ritual making.

Samuel, as he is commonly known, hails from Oghara in Delta State. He revealed that he had engaged in the disturbing act at their rented apartment located in Ologbo community in Ikpoba-Okha Local Government Area of Edo State.

While talking to journalists when he was paraded at the Edo State Police Command, Samuel said he was pushed to carry out the act by a ritualist who sells drugs in the community.

In his own words, Samuel said, “I was tempted to use my mother for a money ritual. I am 18 years old, and I lost my father a long time ago. A man known as One Love approached me, offering ₦50,000 if I would kill my mother, sleep with her, and extract her private parts. He instructed me to bring her ear and private part for ritual purposes.”

However, luck was not on Samuel’s side. His cousin grew concerned when his mother went missing for nearly three days. Worried, the cousin decided to search their house and tragically discovered his deceased aunt in one of the rooms.

Alarmed, the cousin immediately sought help from their neighbours, who confronted Samuel after he confessed to the crime.

A violent mob gathered, threatening to harm him, but the situation was diffused by the timely intervention of the police, who apprehended him.
