The Secretary to the Yobe State Government, Dr Mohammed Goje, has met Vice President Kashim Shettima on the sidelines of the 81st United Nations General Assembly in New York.
Dr Goje updated the vice president on Yobe’s ongoing investment mission and related engagements aimed at supporting the development priorities of Governor Mai Mala Buni’s administration.
He outlined efforts by the state government to attract strategic investment, build partnerships and identify opportunities intended to boost economic growth and improve living conditions for residents.
The meeting formed part of the Yobe delegation’s activities at the global forum. Mr Shettima, who is leading Nigeria’s team, expressed goodwill towards the government and people of Yobe and sent his regards.
Yobe State is using the UN General Assembly to promote its development and investment agenda on the international stage.
