Gov Buni confirms Goje as substantive SSG

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has approved the appointment of Dr Mohammed Goje as substantive Secretary to the State Government.

Dr Goje had served as acting Secretary to the State Government since 29 April 2026. Before that appointment, he was Executive Secretary of the State Emergency Management Agency (SEMA).

Governor Buni charged Dr Goje to justify the confidence reposed in him by adding value to good governance and improving service delivery in the state.

The announcement was signed by Mamman Mohammed, Director-General of Press and Media Affairs to the Governor.
