Manchester United are expected to offload Mason Greenwood this summer.
However, Goal reports that the 22-year-old could still re-join the squad before any transfer deal is done.
Greenwood spent the 2023/2024 season on loan at LaLiga side Getafe.
The English forward appeared to bid farewell to them following their final league fixture of the season.
The agreement with Getafe will officially end in June.
The transfer window will be open by then, with plenty of interest in Greenwood being shown.
Premier League clubs are keen, along with teams like Juventus, Napoli, Atletico Madrid and Borussia Dortmund.
