Hardship: Gov. Buni support 120,000 people with food items

Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State has flagged off the distribution of food item to people of state.

The flagging off ceremony took place on Thursday at Government House, Damaturu, capital of the state.

The gesture targeted 120,000 people across the all 17 Local Government Areas of the state.

According to him, each beneficiary will receive a 50kg of rice.

At the ceremony, the governor said current distribution of food support to people is neither the beginning nor the end of such support to people under his administration.

‘It had happened in the past and will continue to happen in the months and years ahead,’ he assured.

This support will bring succor to the people especially Muslim faithfuls during this period of fasting.
