Gov. Buni appoints acting head of service, permanent sec

Hon. Mai Mala Buni, Governor of Yobe has approved the appointment of Hamidu M. Alhaji as the state’s acting head of service.

This was contained in a statement by Mohammed Mamman, the governor’s spokesman.

Mr. Hamidu is appointed following the disengagement of Alhaji Garba Bilal, the former head of service last week.

Similarly, the governor has approved the appointment of Musa Audu Farafara as permanent secretary.

The two appointments are with immediate effect.
