In a determined effort to ensure the safety and security of his constituents, Hon. Aminu Balele Kufri, representing the Dutsinma/Kurfi federal legislative district in the Green chamber of the National Assembly, has taken a decisive step by moving a motion for urgent intervention.

The motion, prompted by the escalating bandit attacks in the region, aims to enhance the security infrastructure in Dutsinma Local Government. The recent abduction of five students from the Federal University Dutsinma further underscores the pressing need for stronger security measures.

During his impassioned plea, Hon. Aminu Balele Kufri called for the allocation of at least five additional armored vehicles to bolster the security apparatus in the area. These additional resources, he argued, would aid in curtailing the growing security threats posed by bandits.

In a heartening response, the Speaker and members of the Green chamber unanimously approved Hon. Kufri’s request. The swift action taken by the legislative body signals their commitment to addressing the security challenges faced by the people of Dutsinma and Kurfi.

The approved security reinforcements, including the deployment of additional troops, are expected to be sent to Dutsinma without delay. This initiative underscores the dedication of Hon. Aminu Balele Kufri and the collective resolve of the National Assembly to protect the lives and property of the residents in the region.

The people of Dutsinma/Kurfi have expressed their gratitude for the proactive stance taken by their representative and eagerly await the arrival of the additional security units that will help restore peace and security in their community.
