Liverpool beat Arsenal 2-0 to make it nine wins in a row, and they’re now only one point behind the league leaders Manchester City.

The first half sees Arsenal and the Reds cancelled each other out, as the Gunners excellent defensive shape and aggression limited Liverpool’s chances of scoring.

But the visitiors came out fired up in the second half as Sadio Mane threatened within the first minute before Diogo Jota broke the deadlock in the 56th minute.

Roberto Firmino doubled the Reds lead within eight minutes as Liverpool showed the absolute quality of champions.

Firmino provided a lovely deft finish after some superb work by Robertson to seal all 3 points for Liverpool.
