Umar Sadiq Two Goals Boost Almeria Promotion hope

Super Eagles forward Sadiq Umar, was on the score sheet for Almeria in their Laliga 2 match with Mirandes at the Estadio Mideterraneo on Sunday.

The striker scored both goals as Almeria beat their visitors 2-1 to boost their promotion hope.

Sadiq opened the scoring in the 69th minutes when he converted a pass from Puigma Martinez.

He then added the second three minutes later, following a good work from Dyego Sousa.

Sadiq has now scored 12 goals and recorded 6 assists for Almeria who are chasing a promotion to Laliga 1.

The three points moved Almeria just within the leaders Eibar who have 57 points from 28 matches.

Next for Sadiq Umar and his mates is a trip to Fuenlabrada where they will hope to extend their winning streak.
