The Nigerian Air Force (NAF), operating under Operation HADIN KAI (OPHK), has successfully dismantled a major terrorist logistics chain in the Mandara Mountains, Borno State.

In a statement released on Monday, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, Director of Public Relations and Information at NAF Headquarters, confirmed the airstrikes targeted a fortified enclave used by the Jama’atu Ahlis Sunna Lidda’awati wal-Jihad (JAS) faction of Boko Haram.

The targeted locations, situated in the rugged, mountainous terrain along Nigeria’s border with Cameroon, have recently seen heightened terrorist activity. Intelligence reports indicated a logistics build-up and the presence of high-ranking JAS commanders, prompting the precision air raids.

The successful operation marks another step forward in degrading terrorist capabilities in the region.
