The Governor of Yobe State and Chairman of the Lake Chad Basin Governors’ Forum (LCBGF), Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has appointed Dr. Sa’id Alkali Kori, CEO of ThinkLab Group, as Honorary Special Adviser on International Relations and Development.
Dr. Kori will also serve as Technical Advisor to the Lake Chad Basin Governors’ Forum.
According to the official letter of appointment, the decision was made in recognition of Dr. Kori’s outstanding track record, dedication, and commitment to the development of Yobe State and the broader region.
“His vast international network and proven leadership will significantly enhance our engagement with multilateral partners and accelerate progress across the Lake Chad Basin,” the statement read.
Dr. Kori is a renowned international development expert with decades of experience in global partnerships, investment facilitation, and regional development strategy.
