Yobe Police Rescue Kidnap Victim, Arrest Suspect in Bauchi

The Yobe State Police Command has successfully rescued Abdullahi Hassan, a young boy kidnapped after school hours on October 13, 2024.

Prime suspect, Yusuf Ali, was apprehended in Bauchi State after demanding a ransom of N1.5 million from the victim’s family.

The arrest followed an intelligence-led operation that traced Abdullahi to a secured room in the Kara Area of Darazo.

Commissioner of Police, CP Garba Ahmed, commended the officers for their swift action and reassured the public of the force’s dedication to tackling crime.
