Borno State University Gets New Vice Chancellor

Borno State University today announced the appointment of Prof. Babagana Gutti as its new Vice Chancellor.

Prof. Gutti succeeds Prof. Haruna Dlakwa, who held the position in an acting capacity following the expiration of tenure in office of Prof. Umar Kyari Sandabe, the university’s first substantive Vice Chancellor.

The new vice chancellor, Gutti is a professor of engineering at University of Maiduguri.

Prof. Gutti’s tenure is expected to focus on initiatives that will enhance educational development in the institution.
