ISWAP Terrorists Invade Military Base In Borno

Members of Islamic State of West Africa Province (ISWAP), on Sunday night, invade a military base located at Gamboru-Ngala in Borno State.

ISWAP terrorists attacked the military base in Gamboru Central Primary School and chased personnel of the Nigerian Army (NA).

The security facility was burnt down by the terrorists in a reprisal attack following military onslaughts in the Lake Chad basin.

The ruining offensives of Nigerian troops led to the killing of many terrorist commanders and fighters in Lake Chad Basin (LCB) and Sambisa forest.

Last week, Nigerian Military airstrikes eliminated Amir Buba Danfulani and four other notorious ISWAP commanders in Tumbuns and Sambisa axis.

A senior ISWAP Commander Danfulani brainwashed Fulanis and herdsmen in joining a terrorist group. He also organize activities of the terrorists ranging from the deployment of spies as well as tax collectors.

The terrorists got angry and targeted the military base. They were said to have fired explosives into Ngala town at the weekend which also resulted to the killing of one civilian while six persons were injured.

When contacted, the Director of Army Public Relations, Brig Gen Onyema Nwachukwu, said he was not aware of such developments but promised to find out.
