Kwara Poly withdraws  student’s HND due to cultism

AbdulRasheed Zubair Olatunji of the department Public Administration Department has had his Higher National Diploma Certificate granted for immediate revocation by the Kwara State Polytechnic, Ilorin, due to his suspected involvement in cults.

This information was provided to newsmen in Ilorin on Monday in a statement written and signed by the deputy registrar of the registrar’s office, Mr. Olayemi Olatomi.

The declaration made clear that the choice was made in light of the Polytechnic’s Students’ Disciplinary Committee’s findings.

The management said AbdulRasheed’s involvement in cultism was a pointer to the fact that he was not worthy in character and learning to earn the certificate of the institution.

The mobilisation of AbdulRasheed to the mandatory National Youth Service Corps, NYSC, was also put on hold, the statement further disclosed.
