Amb. Umar Abubakar has demonstrated that action and ideas are not enough no matter how right, they must be chiseled into law and institutions.
Under His Excellency Gov.Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State, the almajiri education system has witnessed changed and improvement in education standards and better lifestyle through the YOBE STATE ARABIC AND ISLAMIC EDUCATION BOARD (AISEB).
One who possess highest standard of integrity can be considered as trustworthy because he never backs off from their inner values no matter how badly they are tempted.
Indeed Ambassador Umar Abubakar has proved himself as a trustworthy and humble leader per excellence.
The Executive Secretary of the Board Amb. Umar Abubakar has showcased his competence and capabilities in discharging his duties by numerous innovations and policies ranging from:
1.REGISTRATION OF ISLAMIYYA SCHOOLS ACROSS THE STATE: in order to improve and have a centralized database of the total number of islamiyya school in the state, the leadership of AISEB under AMB. UMAR ABUBAKAR has initiated and achieved huge progress in bringing all Islamic islamiyya schools under a single umbrella, and that will help in improving the standards of living of all almajiri.
- TECHNOLOGICAL ADVANCEMENT IN THE ENTIRE SECTOR: Under AMB. UMAR ABUBAKAR, he prioritized the integration of technology by training programs and procuring computer devices and setting computer training sessions for all almajiri and islamiyya schools across the state.
- EMPOWERING TSANGAYA STUDENTS IN ENTERPRENUERSHIP AND SKILLS ACQUISITIONS:
- Amb. Umar Abubakar’s commitment to Empowering Tsangaya pupils is evident through training in various skills,including tailoring and Barbing. This initiative not only impacts practical skills but also equips students with the means to become self-reliant and contribute positively to the society in general.
- INFRASTRUCTURAL DEVELOPMENT AND DISTRIBUTION OF LEARNING MATERIALS TO ALL TSANGAYA AND ISLAMIYYA SCHOOLS ACROSS THE STATE: The initiative of Amb. Umar Abubakar in repairing boreholes in Islamic schools, and providing learning materials such as Solar lights, books, writing materials, caps, and food flasks in order to make the environment conducive for learning to the students and teachers.
- RENOVATING OF TSANGAYA AND ISLAMIYYA SCHOOLS: Amb. Umar Abubakar has succeeded in renovating and upgrading tsangaya and islamiyya school in the state to meet up with qualified standards of learning and compete globally.
An honest appointee develop character and build credibility and trust which are rock foundation to evoke confidence and respect from those around him and among political leaders, teammates and Co-workers.
Amb. Umar has no doubt proved himself to be not just honest and performing Executive Secretary of the Board but proved to all that trust and respect can’t be learned, purchased or acquired. They can only be earned, trust and respects comes from one’s actions and thoughts towards the public.
Humility is one of the rare quality to find in today’s generation especially around people with power. “Pride is concerned with who is right” but “humility is concerned with what is right.” it only comes when a leader possess humility in his character.
Amb. Umar Abubakar humility is a great source of pride and next to none, hurrah to a leader, mentor and example of greatness.
Amb. Umar Abubakar has demonstrated that the Tsangaya and Islamiyya schools are of paramount importance to the administration of Gov. Mai Mala Buni and his readiness in making lives better to all the Islamiyyah students across the state.
