Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, is in court for the continuation of his terrorism trial.

Kanu was brought to court by the Department of State Services, DSS, on Monday morning.

In December 2023, the Supreme Court had returned Kanu’s case to the Federal High Court for continuation of prosecution.

This was after the apex court dismissed the Appeal Court’s verdict that discharged and acquitted Kanu of all terrorism charges.

Against this backdrop, the court had scheduled February 8 for the hearing of Kanu’s terrorism charges.

But the trial was subsequently adjourned till February 26.
