Gov Kefas constitutes committee on Food sustainability

Governor of Taraba State, Dr. Agbu Kefas has constituted a 20 member Agriculture and Food sustainability Committee to boost food production through effective utilization of the natural resources that make Taraba State Natures gift and food basket of the Nation with the Emir of Muri Alhaji Abbas Njiddah Tafida a full blown farmer as Chairman.

Members of the Committee are
representative of the Chairman Taraba State Council of Chiefs the Aku-Uka,
Dr. Shehu Baju Chief of Mambilla,
Alhaji Zubairu Hammangabdo
Lamdo Gashaka,
Ado Adamu Mazang
Chief of Mumuye,
Gara Donga Sanvala V. Shimura,
Alhaji Abubakar Salihu Danbawuro
Chief of Ibbi,
Chief of Dakka,
Alhaji Yusuf Manga,
Uhwe Ephraim Bala
Tsohon Takum and
Augustine N. Vengkani
Chief of Kona

Others are Commissioners of Agriculture, Environment, Energy and Digital Economy, Water, Justice, Mustapha B. Adamu, Samuel Yelwa Emmanuel Rika, Dinshiya Ibrahim Usman, Terence Joseph, Dr. David Charima Chairman, House committee on Agriculture and Food Security while the Secretary to the Government of the Taraba State Chief Gebon Timothy Kataps is the Coordinator of the Committee.

A Statement by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor Mr. Yusuf Sanda said the Committee will be inaugurated on Tuesday, February 20th, 2024, by 10am at the Auditorium Office of the First Lady and Wife of Taraba State Governor, opposite Muslim Council Secretariat, Jalingo.
