The funeral prayer of late Prof. Emeritus Umaru Shehu, renewed professor of medicine is slated at 4:30PM.
The prayer will hold in his residence, House No. 4 Jarafu Close Old GRA Maiduguri, capital of Borno State.
The professor died in the early hours of Monday at University of Maiduguri Teaching Hospital, UMTH Borno State after a brief illness
Until his death, he is the chairman of the Board of Directors of the Institute of Human Virology, Nigeria, IHVN.
The 92 year old professor held significant positions in several universities, including the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Ahmadu Bello University, and the University of Maiduguri.
