Lai Mohammed, a former minister of information and culture, has been named managing partner of Ballard Partners, a global lobbying organization.

Less than two weeks have passed since the dissolution of ex-President Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet.

In a statement posted on Tuesday on Ballard Partner’s official Twitter page, Mohammed’s new position was officially acknowledged.

It stated: “Ballard Partners, a leading government relations business in the US, will open its first office in Africa in Abuja, Nigeria, the country’s capital.

The firm’s satellite office in Lagos, the country’s financial hub, will be managed by Lai Mohammed, the recently-retired minister of communications and culture of Nigeria.

Mohammed was appointed to the position, according to the firm’s president, because he “is one of the most respected officials in the country”.

  1. An interesting discussion is worth comment. I think that you should write more on this topic, it might not be a taboo subject but generally people are not enough to speak on such topics. To the next. Cheers

  2. Great blog! Do you have any hints for aspiring writers? I’m hoping to start my own website soon but I’m a little lost on everything. Would you propose starting with a free platform like WordPress or go for a paid option? There are so many choices out there that I’m totally confused .. Any tips? Thanks!

  3. I have been browsing on-line greater than three hours today, yet I never discovered any attention-grabbing article like yours. It is pretty price enough for me.
