Tinubu sworn in as Nigeria’s President

The President-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu, has been administered with the oath of office by the Chief Justice of Nigeria, Olukayode Ariwoola.

This is coming a few minutes after the Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima, was also administered the oath of office.

He was sworn-in after the President-elect, Kashim Shettima, took his oath of office.

Tinubu won the 2023 presidential election after defeating the likes of Atiku Abubakar of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Peter Obi of the Labour Party, LP, and Rabiu Kwankwaso of the New Nigeria Peoples Party, NNPP.
