Gov. Buni order immediate continuation of payment of domestic scholarships

The Yobe State Governor, Mai Mala Buni has directed the continuance of payments of all outstanding scholarships.

The payments will begin tomorrow 8th March, 2023. With Batch A, 8th March -16th March, which are as follows;

1. The Federal Polytechnic, Damaturu, 2793 Students.

2. The Yobe State College of Arabic and Islamic Studies, Damaturu, 107 Students

3. Ramat Polytechnic, Maiduguri, 211 Students

4. Army University, Biu, 72 Students

Batch B and C to follow immediately after from 19th March 2023

Batch B.

1. The University of Maiduguri 4181 Students

2. FCE Potiskum 6237 Students

3. Modibbo Adama University, Yola 228 Students

4. FED Poly Mubi 17 Students

5. Adamawa State University, 7 Students

Batch C

1. College of Education, Gashua 2979 Students

2. Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. 656 Students

3. ATBU 979 Students

4. Sunna College of Islamic Studies, Potiskum, 366 Students.

As Students are now on vacation (election break), all schools on the Batch A payment schedule i.e., Fedpodam, Rampoly, the Army University, Biu and the Yobe State College of Arabic and Islamic Studies are to meet the staff of the Board at the Yobe State University from the 8th-26th March for clearance and payment.

Names and credentials of all beneficiaries will be published on the official page of the YSSB and on the school notice Boards.

The board said all candidates can contact the leadership of the National Union of Yobe State Students for enquiries.
