Philanthropist and community leader, Alhaji Sani Ahmad Kaitafi, has once again extended a lifeline to vulnerable groups in his constituency, with the donation of ₦2 million as non-conditional cash palliative to 100 widows in Katuzu Ward.

The initiative, part of his ongoing humanitarian efforts, is aimed at easing the economic hardship faced by widows and vulnerable households in the area. Each beneficiary received direct cash support to cater for immediate family needs without restrictions.

A five-member committee chaired by Wambai Bulama and including Ali Mamman, Umar Gambo, Hafsat Ibrahim, and Abdullahi Alh Usman (Kyamo) has been tasked with overseeing fair and transparent disbursement of the funds.

Kaitafi, who has a track record of supporting widows, orphans, and the less privileged, reiterated his commitment to grassroots empowerment. Previous interventions documented on his official Facebook page show a consistent focus on welfare-driven initiatives across Yobe communities.

Community leaders have lauded the gesture, describing it as a timely intervention at a period of soaring food and living costs, while urging other well-meaning individuals to emulate Kaitafi’s example in giving back to society.
