19 law students gets Gov. Buni scholarship

Yobe State Governor Mai Mala Buni has awarded a scholarship to 19 law students from the University of Maiduguri, UNIMaid for their law school studies.

The scholarship was approved on Friday and each beneficiary received N475,000 and a laptop computer.

The executive secretary of the states scholarship board, Dr. Abubakar Kagu said, their government aim to support the students in their legal education is to prepare them for the future.

“This initiative is part of Gov. Buni’s efforts to promote education and youth development in the state,” Kagu said.

The governor’s office also stated that the initiative is part of the state government’s commitment to investing in the education and future of its youth.

This is the second scholarship awarded to law students in the state this year.

In January, Governor Buni awarded N92 million scholarship to law students from the state, studying across various institutions.
