The Yobe State Ministry of Religious Affairs and Ethical Re-orientation, through its Hisbah department, has arrested 14 suspects for alleged prostitution and use of illicit drugs.

The suspects were arrested during a recent raid carried out by the Hisbah police in collaboration with other security agencies in the Damaturu metropolis.

The Permanent Secretary of the ministry, Alhaji Yusuf Hassan Yusuf, while parading the suspects to newsmen, said the accused comprised of nine females and five males.
