National social affairs commentator, Comrade Murtala Muhammed Gamji, has challenged Taraba State Governor, Dr. Agbu Kefas, to urgently fix what he described as a weak and ineffective administration.

Gamji, who spoke bluntly on the state of affairs in Taraba, lamented that nothing meaningful is moving in the state. He pointed to the absence of good roads, jobs, youth empowerment programmes, and visible development projects, warning that Taraba is “in serious trouble” unless the governor acts fast.

“Today in Taraba State, many young people are jobless. They spend their days under trees, playing draft and gossiping because there are no opportunities. The government has not given them any support. Even most commissioners and government officials are struggling to feed, so how can they help the people?” Gamji queried.

He described the situation as dangerous, saying the lack of projects, youth programmes, and long-term development plans could leave the state worse than the governor met it.

“Governor Kefas still has time to change things, but he must listen to the people, fix his administration, roll out real empowerment programmes, and build infrastructure,” he urged.

Gamji also cautioned the governor against surrounding himself with aides who only tell him what he wants to hear, stressing that Tarabans are “hungry, tired, and disappointed” and demand action, not empty promises.
