LCBGF: Delegates, officials, guests, awaits VP to commence conference

Hundreds of people, including diplomats, national and international delegates, and other officials and guests, have stormed into the Muhammadu Indimi International Conference Centre, University of Maiduguri, for the 5th Lake Chad Basin Governors Forum.

Hosted by Yobe State Government, the forum is expected to deliberate on important developmental issues and challenges facing the region.

Also, a panel discussion on topical issues related to the region would be discussed at the program.

However, the main conference is yet to commence at the time of filling this report, as they await the presence of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, who would be represented by vice president, Kashim Shettima.
