A fire outbreak has gutted the female hostel in Yobe State University Damaturu.
The fire started around 6:30PM, when the Muslim faithful in the school were performing Magrib, evening prayer.
However, the fire was put off at the time of filling this report, and no casualty was recorded in the incident.
Also, there is yet no official statement on the cause of the fire outbreak but sources suggested that it may have been triggered by an explosion from a cooking gas cylinder. details shortly
