Key Borno Bridge in Malam Fotori linking Nigeria and Bosso on the verse of collapsing

A key bridge linking Nigeria and Niger Republic in the far northern border community of Malumfatori, serving thousands of people is on the verge of collapse following recent flash floods.

Villagers living in Malam Fatori and those giong to Bosso were worried they would be totally cut off from the outside world if the state authorities failed to repair the bridge in due time.

According to Zagazola the dilapidated bridge is posing risk and danger to the lives of the commuters, which provides connectivity from Nigeria to Niger Republic

The dilapidated bridge, however, continues to be the lifeline for people in Lake Chad but the condition of the bridge is going from bad to worse with every passing day.
