Real Madrid remain absolute leaders of Laliga with a 1-0 victory over Granada. Thanks to Asensio’s 74th minute strike, helping the Spanish giant get all 3 points at Bernabeau.

Eder Militao pinched the ball back high up the pitch at the breakdown of a set piece, he fed it to Asensio and he did what he has done so often, by scoring a wonder goal from distance.

The win see Madrid extend their lead at the top of the table. They move Six points above Sevilla who sit second and 15 points above Barcelona who jumped into the top four in the early evening with a 4-2 victory over Altetico Madrid.

This 1-0 win will be savoured by Los Blancos, who came into the match without Karim Benzema or Vinicius and having lost Casemiro and Lucas Vazquez to sickness earlier in the day.
