Yobe pilgrims commission remits over ₦5bn to NAHCON

The Yobe State Pilgrims Commission has successfully completed the sale of Hajj seats for the 2025 pilgrimage, marking a crucial step in its preparations to facilitate a smooth spiritual journey for intending pilgrims from the state.

As part of its commitment to ensuring a seamless exercise, the commission has remitted over ₦5 billion to the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) as payment for Yobe pilgrims.

Announcing the remittance during a meeting with local government fare collectors and Hajj stakeholders, the Executive Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Mai Aliyu, reaffirmed the agency’s dedication to providing a comfortable and well-organized pilgrimage experience.

Alhaji Mai Aliyu assured pilgrims of the commission’s efforts to guarantee their safety and well-being throughout the sacred journey.

He urged local government fare collectors and other stakeholders to continue their cooperation and remain informed about the pilgrimage arrangements.
