Khadija Manga emerged winner of Yobe Spelling Bee, won N1m and other prizes

The 2nd edition of Yobe State Spelling Bee has come to an end with Khadija Modu Manga as the winner of the program.

She won the competition on the final day on Friday at Damaturu after battling it out with Yusuf Haruna Mohammed in the final.

Some of the words spelled in the final includes; diagnoses, instinctive, colome, homiletics, Aquarium, Boisterous and others.

Khadija is a student of Zaid Bin Thabit private school, Damaturu while the runner-up is from Government Day Junior Secondary School Kara, Potiskum.

Also, Umaira Haruna of Madina International Academy, Sabon Gari, Gashua town, Bade local government area of the state, emerged third position.
