NEDC provides 18 Seater Bus to Aku Uka’s Palace in Taraba

The Northeast Development Commission NEDC has donated an 18-Seater Bus to the Palace of Aku Uka in Taraba State.

Presenting the Bus to the Aku Uka His Majesty Dr. Ishaku Adda Ali Matakitswen, Coordinator of the NEDC in Taraba State Alhaji Bashir HammanJoda said the Bus is to aid transportation within the palace to enhance public functions and support efficient administration and community engagements of the Aku Uka who is the Chairman of the Taraba State Traditional Council.

Receiving the Bus, His Majesty the Aku Uka, who expressed appreciation and gratitude thanked the Commission for this significant contribution to the operations in the Palace.

“This act of goodwill from the North East Development Commission signifies a strengthening of relationship between the Commission and the Palace and a testament to the commitment of the NEDC to support and enhance the functional capacities of traditional institutions within the region” the Aku Uka noted.

He Said the Palace looks forward to enhanced capabilities this vehicle will bring and expressed his happiness for this valuable gift to the Palace.
