Children die as fire guts Borno IDP camp

At least two children have been confirmed dead following a fire incident at the Muna Internally Displaced Persons, IDPs, camp in Borno State.

Details of the incident are still sketchy, but Channels TV reported that it occurred on Tuesday.

However, there is no official statement from authority in the state, and Police Public Relations Officer of the Borno Command, SP Suleiman Nguroje, can not be reached when contacted via phone call at the time of filing this report.
