Davido donate 300 million to orphans in Nigeria

Nigerian afrobeat singer, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has announced a 300 million Naira donation to orphanages across the country.

Davido disclosed this in a post shared on his X, formerly Twitter, handle on Tuesday. He added that he will share details of the disbursement on Wednesday.

Davido along with his foundation, David Adeleke Foundation annually made donations to orphanages.

He wrote, “I and my foundation pledge the sum of 300 million Naira to orphanages around Nigeria … as my yearly contribution to the Nation ❤️ .. details of disbursement tomorrow.”

This is not the first time Davido has supported foster homes in Nigeria.

Recall In November 2021, MaidawaArewa reported that Davido donated N250m to 292 orphanages, in commemoration of his 29th birthday.

In July 2023, the musician was also reported to have donated N237 million to over 400 orphanages in Nigeria.
