Seven persons were arrested by the Kano State Police Command on Wednesday during a clash involving factional groups of hoodlums at the Rimi Market area of the state.

It was earlier claimed that a policeman was killed but SP Abdullahi Haruna, the State’s Police Public Relations Officer, debunked the claim, confirming that the policeman sustained injuries while in the line of duty.

The PPRO also explained that the policemen detailed to restore normalcy in the area arrested seven suspects involved in the clash.
