Gov. Buni Condemns Geidam attack, Calls for more support, prayers

he Executive Governor of Yobe state, Hon. Mai Mala Buni, has condemned the terrorists on Geidam and call for more prayers for a lasting peace in the state and country.

He described the attack as heinous especially in this holy month of Ramadan when faithfuls seek the mercy of Allah against engaging in obnoxious acts.

The Governor commended security agencies for their resilience assuring more synergy between government and the security agencies to curb crime in the state.

Governor Buni urged the people to always volunteer useful and timely information to security operatives to enhance proactive measures.

“We should also use the opportunity provided by the holy month of Ramadan to pray for our state and country” Buni said.

He assured the commitment of his administration towards an enduring peace, security and development across the state.

The Governor commiserated with the victims of the attack assuring government support.
