Manchester United welcome Brighton to Old Trafford in the Premier League on Tuesday night.

The fixture was originally scheduled to be played in December but it was postponed after a Covid-19 outbreak at United.

Manchester head into the game after yet another draw at the weekend. Although the Reds looked strong in the first half against Southampton and Jadon Sancho scored the game’s opener, Che Adams brought his side level just after the interval.

That result means United have now drawn their last three games 1-1 across normal time (Middlesbrough, Burnley and Southampton)

Brighton were dominant in the first period, with only the heroics of David de Gea keeping the scoreline level.

But Ronaldo handed United an undeserved lead when he picked up the ball just outside the box, cut inside and fired into the net.

His goal drought finally ended as he fired United ahead against the Seagulls in the 50th minute.

Bruno Fernandes seal the win for Rangnick’s side by adding a second goal at the death, the result sees Manchester United back into the top four race.
