As flooding continues to wreck havoc in many parts of Yobe State, the Federal Government has been tasked to provide immediate solution to alleviate the suffering of affected communities and prevent a looming humanitarian crisis.

Senator Musa Mustapha of Yobe East Senatorial District made the call while reacting to the recent flood disaster that cut off nine local government areas from the state capital.

“This natural disaster may exacerbate the existing hardships faced by our people, who rely heavily on the State capital for essential supplies, including food and other basic necessities,” Mustapha said.
