Harry Kane produced a masterful performance to lead Tottenham to a dramatic 3-2 victory over Manchester City at Etihad.

Tottenham’s new signing, Dejan Kulusevski opened the scoring after just four minutes after Heung-Min Son broke the offside trap and unselfishly squared it to the Sweden international.

Gundogan levelled the scores in the 33rd minute after a barrage of City pressure, courtesy of Raheem Sterling’s cross.

Spur put in a much greater attacking threat after the break with Kane restoring their lead as he finished superbly from Son’s pass.

The England captain had the ball in the net again with a superb turn and finish, but VAR ruled it out for an offside against Kulusevski in the build up.

City’s sees their pressure paid off as the game ticked into injury time, with Spurs defender Cristian Romero handling in the area and Riyad Mahrez netting home from the spot kick after a penalty was awarded to Guardiola’s side.

Kane added a third for Spurs late on with a header to secure a dramatic victory and a remarkable comeback.

City remain six points clear of Liverpool at the summit, but having played one more game. Liverpool can close the gap to three points when they host Leeds on Wednesday.
